disorganized breakfast servicelack of towel hooks
The breakfast service felt disorganized. Staff seemed overwhelmed and some items ran out quickly. The bathroom lacked towel hooks. This made it inconvenient to hang wet towels after showering.

adequate stay

excellent breakfasttraditional publocal beermediocre menuexpensive priceno wine
the breakfast was excellent, and it had everything i wanted. cereal, fruit, juice, and toast were all available. bacon, sausage, beans, and poached eggs were also served. the pub itself is a traditional country pub serving local beer.
the menu seemed very mediocre and expensive. we ordered a sharing platter, but part of it was wrong. i had to wait for the correct item. there wasn't a wine list, so the wine selection felt random.

good Stay

king-size bedample supplyen-suite bathroom
The room, named 'De lacy,' included a king-size bed. A tv, tea, coffee, and biscuits were in the room and replenished daily. The en-suite bathroom had hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo, which i found useful.

The room felt spacious and clean. Quality bedding was provided (very comfy!). A walk-in shower was present. The room was spotlessly clean throughout our stay.
